Johnny hung himself last night.
His girlfriend called the police while his was making the noose.
They got there in time. His feet were still kicking.
Johnny hung himself and the police cut him down.
He was wearing gym shorts and socks.

When he came to he ran out of the house and into the woods.
They thought for sure he was going to try it again.

The cops called Dana. He was the one who was driving the car that rolled
in the sandpit yesterday at the memorial day kegger.
Johnny and Dana werent hurt
but thier best friend Brian was dead.

thats why Johnny hung himself last night.

They called Dana to tell him to watch for Johnny.

We were all at the kitchen table-
Dana was telling us how
the police had called to make him feel guilty.

Then Gail- Danas mom- my boss
said - "here comes Johnny!"
Johnny knocked on the kitchen door.
He wasnt wearing any shoes but he did have a shirt on.
"Come on in!" called my boss.
Johnny said he'd been sleeping out in the Blazer.

"Johnny you gotta call the police - they're searching the woods for you!"

"What do they want ME for?" he said.
I could see rope marks on Johnnys neck.

"They thought you were going to do it again!" yelled Dana.
"They think you're dead in the woods somewhere!"

I could tell Johnny didnt know what Dana was talking about.
Johnny didnt know that he had hung himself last night.

I finished my coffee and went down to the barn to feed the horses.
